In the east, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude, home to animals including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards and egrets. Day 1 :

Pookote Lake, Lakkidi View Point, Banasura Sagar Dam

<p>Pick up From Kalpetta town at morning and checking to hotel/homestay after fresh and breakfast Sightseeing to Banasura sagar Dam It is the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia and an ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding scenic mountains. Next moving to Pookote Lake - Which is a natural fresh water lake nestling amid evergreen forests and mountain slopes at an altitude of 770 meters above sea level.Evening visit to Lakkidi View Point - it is the gateway of Wayanad as it is located at the crest of the serpentine Thamarassery ghat pass. There are nine hairpin curves. After sightseeing by evening proceed to hotel overnight dinner and stay at hotel/homestay.</p>

Day 2 :

Kuruva Island, Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, Thirunelli Temple

<p>After breakfast from hotel/homestay sightseeing to Kuruva Island these are small island located on tributeris of river kabani - Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best places in Kerala for sighting wild elephants. Other than elephant herds, there is good chance to spot bison, deer, monkey, giant squirrel and a range of other animals.Tigers and leopards are present here. Thirunalli Temple Temple is the only temple in the world where the devotees can perform all the rituals related to one’s life, starting from birth to death and life after death. It is one of the most ancient temples in Kerala. It is believed that here the prathishta of Lord Vishnu was performed by Lord Brahma. It is also known as ''Sahyamala Kshetram'' and ''Kashi of the South''. </p><p></p>

Day 3 :

Chembra Peak, Soochipara Water Falls

<p>After fresh up and breakfast from homestay sightseeing to Chembra Peak- is the highest peak in Wayanad, A heart shaped lake on the way to the top of the peak is a major tourist attraction, trucking is about 4 km. Next Moving to Soochippara Water falls which is a three-tiered waterfall surrounded by Deciduous, Evergreen and Montane forests. Locally referred to as Soochipara ("Soochi" meaning "Needle" and "Para" meaning "Rock"). Evening back to homestay dinner and over night stay.</p><p></p>

Day 4 :

Eadakal Caves, Karapuzha Dam

<p>After fresh up and breakfast from homestay sightseeing to Eadakal cave are two natural caves at a remote location at Edakkal, Inside the caves are pictorial writings believed to date to at least 6,000 BC. Then Visit Karapuzha Dam which is the First Irrigation project taken up in Wayanad District with an average elevation of 780 m above sea level. The reservoir with partially submerged hills forming green islands makes an ideal place for aquatic birds. Evening drop at Kalpetta Town by 3 Pm.</p><p></p>
